For as long as Nisa can remember, life was filled with suffering. Growing up in a broken house at Super Centre 5, her family had almost nothing. When it rained, the house would flood and the family would sleep above the water just to stay dry.

Nisa was just three years old when her father passed away. From that moment, her mum carried everything alone — working day and night to keep the family together. The weight became so heavy that she almost gave up. But in the middle of that darkness, Nisa’s mum found hope in God.

Every night before bed, she would read the Bible to Nisa and ask her what she wanted to pray for. Nisa’s answer was always the same — “I want God to give us a new home.”

Then her mum discovered Transform Cambodia, and everything began to change. Through the centre, Nisa received an education, healthy meals, and a growing faith. Knowing her daughter was safe, loved and learning gave her mum the strength to keep going.

In 2020, God answered the prayer of a little girl. Nisa’s family received a new home — safe, peaceful and full of God’s blessing.

Opening Doors: Samie’s Journey From No Direction to a Dream

Samie is a Year 11 student at Transform Cambodia’s Super Centre 5, and he is about to step into his final year of school with something he didn’t have before — a dream.

When Samie first joined the centre, he lacked confidence and had no clear vision for his future. He went through each day without direction, unsure of where he was heading or why education even mattered.

But slowly, everything began to change.

With the support of his teachers and the community around him, Samie started to see education differently. It wasn’t just about passing exams — it was about possibility. His knowledge grew, his communication improved, and he learned to solve problems, work with others, and take responsibility for his own life.

Some of Samie’s most important lessons came from outside the classroom — through testing his faith, trusting God in hard seasons, and learning the resilience that comes from falling down and getting back up.

Today, Samie’s family are proud of the young man he is becoming, and that pride drives him forward. His dream is to become an IT specialist — using technology to teach digital skills and solve problems for his community, free of charge.

From Hopeless to Hopeful: Monineath’s Story of Faith and Growth

Monineath is 13 years old and has been part of the Transform Cambodia family since 2019. From the beginning, Monineath’s faith has been central to who she is — raised in a Christian home, she came to Transform Cambodia already believing, but what she found here helped her grow in ways she never expected.

Through Transform Cambodia, Monineath has built confidence, formed new friendships, and deepened her relationship with God. But it was during one of her family’s hardest seasons that Monineath’s faith was truly tested.

Two years ago, Monineath’s mum suddenly lost all movement in her body. Feeling helpless and unsure where to turn, Monineath and her family did the only thing they could — they prayed. Every day, every night, and every weekend at church, they sought God together.

Then the miracle came. Monineath’s mum began to move again, walking and living life just as she had before.

For Monineath, it was proof that God hears. Today she wants others to know: “If you ever feel discouraged, just know that God will always be by your side.”
